Default Fish prints - Cool assed art

Came across a guy who does fish prints. He does repro's of fish he's already done, but also offers fresh ones if you can get it to his shop. Some of these are badass. I've seen some other ones that don't look nearly as good. Thought some of you guys might be interested in his work too. I've got no affiliation whatsoever with him, other than I found him on Facebook.

Now I just gotta catch me a fish worthy of it!

Fished Impressions:

Joe was a regular on Reel Time back when that had some traffic and started it as a hobby. Did a bunch for people on that board then started a little shop. He's a real nice guy and I have one of his striper prints. He is pretty imaginative as shown by that stars and stripes tuna tail you posted.

My girlfriend is a professional artist. She has painted some fish in the past but I have been encouraging her to paint some more.

This is obviously not a fish but something she did for friends who are divers.

I saw this on Hawaii goes fishing. Pretty cool. There are how to vids on youtube. One thing he did was just rinse off and then brush a mahi with black acrylic non toxic paint. He blotted most back off and then used a t-shirt and made a wrap around fish t shirt. Was very cool.

Here is an older Bill Twibell print. He is pretty unreal. Google him. Definitely one of the best.

Check out the gyotaku pieces by Jim Roberts. They are very nice. I bought 9 of them for our office and Jim signed each one and personally delivered them.
