Default anyone belong to American Association of Individual Investors

Just curious. I got some promotional stuff in mail. They tout a pretty good return (more then double the S&P) since 1993. Seems mostly small to mid cap stocks that institutional investors shy away from. for $29/year, thought might be worth considering?

Get what you pay for. Try something like simplertrading.com or day trading zones instead and learn how to do it yourself.

Made a 68% profit on one trade today based on DTZ guidance and my own analysis.

Any investment advisory service that consistently outperformed the S&P 500 return by 2X over a 27 year period doesn't need to solicit business via promotional mailings. Maybe AAII just got lucky on a few recent investments. How lucky do you feel?
