Default Has anyone tried any of the Cerebral Enhancement supplements?

I never knew about the brain enhancement stuff that is on the market until I talked to a guy I used to work with. His father has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's and started taking something called Addium. He claims his father is like a different person and is no longer showing any symptoms of Alzheimer's. It helped his father so much that he is going to start taking it too.

I looked up info on the Internet and there are some amazing claims (aren't there always) online about it making a huge change in peoples lives and because it appears to be all natural there are very few side effects.

Has anyone taken a Cerebral Enhancement supplement that can comment on them?

I like beer.

It doesn't make you any smarter, but it sure makes you happy.

C'mon Russ,

You know its THT. Most of us are lucky to not sink our boats when we put them in the water much less give medical advice on BRAIN ENHANCEMENTS. This crowd is more about destroying brain cells

Doctors say every time you get drunk enough to pass out, you kill 1000 brain cells.

My theory is they are the weaker cells and are replace by new stronger cells. Therefore, I get smarter every time I get drunk.

Russ, based on the replies you're getting, I'd say you've got your answer.

Playing devil's advocate, if they really worked, a pharmaceutical company would develop a synthetic version of it, and then go after anyone selling addium for patent infringement and make a fortune.

If it really worked, why would they need fake news articles?

The key to keeping a your mind sharp is puzzles. Whatever kind of puzzles you like. Crossword, Sudoku, Jigsaw, scale model building, etc. Your mind needs exercise, just like any other part of the body. Drugs are a last resort in my opinion.

I remember a cnn article and some hype on this last year. Pills for your brain just seem like risky business to me.

You might be wrong. Ever hear of the buffalo theory?

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And, when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine!

That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

The buffalo theory is concrete proof that getting drunk is good for your intelligence

Pigeons prefer regular popcorn to that that has been dusted with cheese.

Its been a while since I looked into this but a daily vitamin helps and also folic acid.

Serrapeptase is in a supplement I am currently taking and that supposedly helps.

Best wishes
