2-11 in progress... handle code 3.

Adam 12 and Emergency were awesome.

Tried to get my kids to watch on Netflix but they couldn't get into it.

That show had a great run, had no idea Milner was 83.

Martin Milner, who starred in the hit 1960s shows Route 66 and Adam-12, died on Sunday at age 83. Milner’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department, which posted a tribute to late star on the Instagram account for its communications department. Milner was also praised on social media by LAPD chief Charlie Beck.

“Adam-12 and Martin Milner embodied the spirit of the LAPD to millions of viewers,” Beck wrote on Twitter. “His depiction of a professional & tough yet compassionate cop led to thousands of men & women applying to become LAPD officers, including me. Godspeed Martin, you will live forever in our hearts.”

“Pete Malloy you are End Of Watch,” read the Instagram post, referencing Milner’s Adam-12 character.

End of watch for Officer Pete Malloy. How many kids wanted to be a cop after watching Adam 12? Millions I'd bet.

Netflix had the whole run. I got to about mid season 2 and had to take a breather. Adam-12 was important because Jack Webb wanted a real cop show with real scenes and real lingo of the time. Malloy should be required reading for all aspiring police.
