Default Florida gunmaker produces assault rifle 'never to be used by Muslim terrorists'

Ok, I'll probably get flamed but I find it rather ludicrous that someone would put scripture on a thing meant for killing. Don't get me wrong, I'm an ardent supporter of the 2nd amendment and gun owner (until the all got stolen).

“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle,”

Really? the Lord or God or whomever trains peoples hands "for war"...wow...and their fingers too! Who'd a thunk it.

I don't know, but anyone or any company that is against fanatic Muslim terrorists seems like a good thing. I was thinking about getting one just to support the company. I've read that they are under attack by the local Muslim community.

Religious engraving on an assault rifle is kinda weird. The prices on those are crazy since new civilian production was made illegal in the 80's. Not sure why someone would want to pay that much for a rifle, go thru the FBI/ATF checks, pay the $200 transfer fee just to mess up a collectible rifle. But, if it's their gun, I guess they can do with it what they want to.

I find it very ironic that a Muslim group is attacking an independent business owner for producing something that no where has it been advertised as an anti Muslim item. Also if it is, that is his right to sell what he wants.

I have been looking at getting a Spikes Tactical AR 15 as a retirment present for myself for the last 6 months. When I was at the factory several months ago, they told me about this rifle. I am either buying this rifle or another model very similiar

It is Psalms 144-1 on the side... As a Christian, like the owner of the company. I like it just fine. Like all things produced in a free market we are all free to choose..

Shag,

It's an AR 15 not requiring special licensing

that's the buzz-word that the anti-gun crowd uses to define anything that shoots and looks like a military weapon. ...but you knew that already.

fox news=al jazeera to the rest of the world

you may not like it, but a little self examination is not bad.

Imagine muslims in america were making guns with Koran quotes on it, just saying, if you are all about adments and rights it is a 2 edge sword.

I personal feel there is nothing wrong with the gun . At all, I have owned ARs and I own bibles. However Foxes coverage on it, your getting played and dont even realize it. Its about perception and not reality, your engraved AR is never going to stop one american life ever from being lost, donate the to the troops to make a difference, dont come at the public with this crap, your intelligence has been insulted.

Sporting rifle. Plain and simple. If you don't agree with it, don't purchase one.

Boom...... Also I have not seen ANYTHING in print that says that the rifle was built to offend Muslims....Once again in our whiney little over PC world someone finds something offensive. Its called free speech and the open market..

Probably all that has been done is they have given the gun maker free advertising and it will spike (see what I did there) in his sales. Funny how that works..

BTW. Several of our SWAT guys use spike's ARs and they love them. They are of good quality.

Marketing Plan:

Take product A, print a bible verse, or anti-Islamic slogan on the side. Hire a Muslim guy to stand out fromt holding a sign saying "I'm offended". (Cut him in for 10%). Take a photo and post online. Hire extra help to process orders from "outraged" conservatives supporting a "persecuted Christian 'Murican company".

Order a new Yellowfin with the spike in profits. Laugh at the sheep who bought it for you.

I saw a booth at the Ft. Lauderdale gun show a few years back that gave me the creeps. They were selling (or promoting) their new fully automatic shotgun. The video they had playing was half evangelical and half blowing the crap outa stuff. The idea of religious zealots and guns is not pretty. Look around the world and look at history and see how that works out. Sharia law and the "religious freedom" of clerks usurping the law of the land are no different.
The islamic terrorists would LOVE to have their crap to be considered a new crusades. They use that for recruiting. If they could convince the islamic masses of that they could have billions of supporters. When a public official refers to our battles in the middle east as crusades, or when the news of Americans calling it a crusade, it is helping the terrorists. Best ad for them since that Florida preacher burning quorans.

Good luck in court to anybody who actually shoots somebody with one of these.

They will need it when the prosecutors and plaintiff's attornies get done with them.

When the the prosecutor holds up an "evil black rifle" in court named the “Crusader” with “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle,” inscribed on it the defendant is going to look like a wacko. The quote is from the OP's article link.

Reasonable people on a jury would find that suspicious at best.
