Default Glock 42

Until recently was never a Glock guy. Sig pistols and Colt revolvers with a couple of Colt pistols mixed in.

But I really like the way the G42 fits in my hand. Nice and light too. Lighter and not as bulky as my Gen 1 S/S Colt Mustang Pocketlight .380

Anyone else procure a G42 yet ? Comments, thoughts ?

Sweet little gun, shoots like a dream for its size. Waiting to get my hands on the 43 and pass off the 42 to the gf.

Not sure about glocks. The proof is in the pudding. On the for sale pages of Facebook and Northeastshooters.com.. There are tons of blocks always for sale.

I bought one to replace a P3AT about 6 months ago.

It's a great shooting little gun and I've had no issues with mine.

The G43 is slightly larger. Single stack 9mm.

I have quite a few friends with the LCP and they're giving them up for the G42.

I can't see it. 380 isn't much for stopping. 9mm is the minimum I'd carry. Not that much more of a pain to carry.

Depends where you are and other factors. LEO around $315

Others in non-gun friendly states who are non LEO will pay a full freight price around $500 (so I am told).

Have had the g43 since April. Installed ghost pro connector to reduce trigger weight and shoots like a dream. Have dropped about 500 rounds thru it of various brands of ammo and was enough to know it's ready to carry. Congrats on the 42 plenty of power.

I carry a 23. Absolutely love it. Hundreds and hundreds of flawless rounds thru it. Been thinking of getting the 43 to replace my LCR when I want more discretion.

I like the 42 better than my Sig P238. I put 500 rounds through the glock with no misfeeds or malfunctions last week.

The Sig replaced a Keltec which was a hunk of shit.

I have been looking at one also and really like it I already have a S&W Bodyguard 380 I like the smaller frame for pocket carry and either would work great in a sneaky Pete holster that's what i have my body guard in

Unlike one post I would not be worried about it being a 380 as apposed to 9mm

How does that fit in a pocket compared to a LCP or P3AT?

A .380 cal pistol should fit in the pocket nicely, otherwise go bigger.

So G42=.380 and
G43= 9mm

Both single stacks. I checked out the 43 in gun shop and do like it. Got to see what holsters (IWB) are available first, but might get one. I'm more of a 9mm guy, but .380 is fine.
