Default Starkist Tuna class action settlement

Starkist recently settled a class action lawsuit that will pay $25 to each class member (or, if they prefer, give them $50 worth of tuna).

The settlement still has to be approved by the judge in December, so payments are a ways off, but might as well get yourself on the list.

Y'all can thank me later.

I bet just about everyone I know would fall into the settlement class here.

Their cans have been 50% water for some time, probably more so on exports!
Pathetic.

In, thanks!

I'm one of those that eats tuna EVERY Friday - tuna melt, tuna sub, tuna salad. And tuna tataki about once a week, but that doesn't come out of a can.

When I pull up the website there is no link to click, but I'm looking at it on my phone so maybe that's why.

on a side note. Anyone here who thinks lawyers are not driving up the cost of business, insurance or anything else for that matter better take a good look at that website.

Its all about money and class actions. you can sign up for weekly newsletters to get money from class action suits

Get your canned tuna from Costco, and you'll never look back at the others.

Duz dey pay ya on an EBT card?

I have been a participant in a number of class action suits over the years. I didn't seek the information out, it was usually mailed to me as a member of the class - Mastercard foreign exchange ripoffs, phone rate overcharging, a whole bunch of different unrelated things. The settlements were but a pittance and usually a credit for some minuscule amount.

Let's just say if I get $50 worth of tuna, it will be the biggest class action payout I've ever seen.
