Default What an incredibly sad day

I just never imagined someone so small could have such a large impact on me...I just want him back.

Condolences, Garett. Very sorry for your loss.

We have 10 (yes, 10) of the furballs we've rescued, some captured as ferals that we've domesticated, others just abandoned strays. All have been neutered/spayed, got all their shots, given lots of love and attention and become part of the family. We've tried to find good homes for some, but it's difficult. Everybody loves a kitten, but nobody wants a cat. The one below is a feral we raised named Caesar. He has grown into being the most beautiful cat in the world!

I do indeed understand your loss.

I totally get it. There are dog people that lose their beloved pet and of course I completely understand. And I’ve heard the same people say “I can’t stand freaking cats”. But losing a cat, and I just lost my faithful old buddy Travis Magee, a Key West Bahama Village stray, is every bit as hard as losing a canine. Travis was over 20 years old and even people that “hated cats” seemed to like him. I never considered myself a cat person until I met Travis.

I’m sorry for your loss. And I understand.

Sorry to hear it Garrett. These two were my best buddies from 1989 until 2007 and 2008. Here they are at 16 years old at Christmas in 2005. They loved Christmas

Although I can't stand cats, I certainly get it. Sorry for your loss Garrett.

Very sorry for you. I've had cat's and dogs both in my house since I was 8 years old (a few decades ago)... still remember some of those tough days decades ago having to say good bye.
