Ill fitting overpriced junk.
If I were you, I'd show them and not buy anything.

As for me, I like their stuff and they stand behind it. I like it even more now.

Says a LOT about the CEOs IN THE BUSINESS OF FLYING PASSENGERS and their tone-deafness.

Way to go United, American, et al . . . business as usual.

Agreed. If they'd have asked me, I'd have gone broke chartering a plane to do the same thing just for the business profile lift.

This young man looks like he is thinking.." Hey...careful there! "

........................

Tim Boyle's pilot called at 9 pm Saturday with a special request.

The mothers of the three Americans who thwarted a would-be terrorist aboard a Netherlands-France bullet train had been invited to attend a ceremony in Paris honoring their sons. But they had no way to get there.
"Would we be willing to fly them in our plane to Paris?" asked pilot Doug Perrill.
"Yeah, we'd be happy to do that," replied Boyle, chief executive of outdoor gear company Columbia Sportswear in Washington County.

Boyle on Monday morning recounted the events that led to the three mothers and a brother of one of the men to be flown aboard a twin-jet Dassault Falcon 2000 at about 10:30 am Sunday from Portland International Airport, arriving early Monday morning in Paris in time for the ceremony.
"I was really intrigued with the story," Boyle said in an interview with The Oregonian / OregonLive. "It was sort of a movie script -- just very interesting. And then the Oregon connection. These guys who were so brave as to do what they did, I just felt they deserved to have their moms present.

"And my wife felt the same way. We're fortunate to be in the position where we can help these families out. And so that's what we did."
But several details needed to be solved in the 12 hours or so between Perrill's phone call and the plane's departure.
At least one and perhaps all of the mothers did not have passports, Boyle said. He said Perrill, working with the U.S. State Department, resolved this issue.
Also, last-minute flights through international airspace are "a complicated venture that was made much easier by the State Department, apparently, which coordinated the whole event."

The mothers of U.S. Airman Spencer Stone and National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos arrived at Portland International Airport from Sacramento; the mother of Sacramento State University student Anthony Sadler arrived from Las Vegas.
Boyle and his wife, Mary Boyle, greeted and briefly chatted with the women before they boarded the 11-seat plane. The brother of one of the men -- a California Highway patrolman -- also made the journey.
"They were very ebullient, talking about the excitement they had for their kids," Boyle said.
Boyle said the plane arrived at Paris–Le Bourget Airport, northeast of the city, at about 7:30 a.m. local time Monday, "and they rushed them to the ceremony."
The plane stopped first at Bangor International Airport in Maine before making the approximately six-hour hop to France. It is scheduled to return to Hillsboro Airport with the mothers on Tuesday.

When asked, Boyle said he did not think to present any of the women with Columbia gear before their departure, though he added, "one of the mothers brought her Columbia vest and said that she wears it every day."

Theres one of your problems. They didnt need to be asked by anyone outside the organization, their pilot heard about the issue and asked the ceo. They also didnt do it for the business profile bump. They did it because they could. Read the part about not slathering them in labeled gear. They didnt even think about it. Some people actually do things for the right reasons not for personal gain.

Bravo Columbia, good on ya.
