Default THT "expert fisherman" in magazine

Here ya'll go, I am in SC Sportsman magazine this next month

http://www.southcarolinasportsman.co...ls.php?id=4737

Author of this article is a very good friend of mine and I never know when he is going to use me as a "model" for some of his fishing/hunting stories. Gets comical at times to see how we stage stuff for pictures

I always pictured you fishing with a pink rod.

Seriously, good pic.

If I understand the article, you are catching small fish that are trapped in a man-made lake and they live in trees??

It is, article is not about me fishing. Author is a client/friend of mine that any time we fish or hunt he takes pictures.

You never know when they will pop in his articles, he just have to have related pictures with articles and from time to time he will just another picture of someone that pertains to his current article

One day I will tell ya'll about how we took a picture of a whitetail doe WITH "antlers"

I guess you might call them "small" but plenty of them are caught that are over 40lbs, in fact SC/GA record came out of lake right below Hartwell (Richard B Russell) and it was 64lbs

My largest to date is a 32lb and keep in mind these are caught on fairly light tackle, normally Abu Garcia 6500 reels

I know, I fished Texoma for stripers when I lived in Texas. It was a lot of fun although I missed the smell of the salt air.

I've been in NC Sportsman and NC Game and Fish a couple times. Funny when it happens cause the guy I know who writes the articles and uses the pictures doesn't give me a heads up.

Bout same way My Buddy does it.

This actually is an old picture and I can tell it was actually made in spring since I see my cuttin board in backgorund that tells me we were cut bait fishing instead of deep water fishing

He likes to see how well I notice stuff like this

One day I will tell the story of catching a FULL Diet Mt Dew bottle on video

Very nice photo- you make a good model. Who's the guy holding you up in the air?

I used to fish Hartwell while I was at University of Georgia. We'd tie up under a bridge and suspend a Coleman lantern over the side of the boat. The big stripers that would start swimming under us were a treat to see and catch.
