Not to de-rail, but why is it that most folks would rather post disgusting stories instead of the overwhelming good stuff that happens each and every day? ;?

I just can't understand glorifying these idiots by continuing to repost this garbage.

OP, I am breaking one of my rules by responding to this garbage, but do you get some kind of pleasure by continually posting stuff like this?

I always said that death penalty should never be an option. Too expensive, to damn long, too painless, and inefficient.

It would be much more efficient and in the best interest of the general population to use these type of people as trial subjects for new drugs or lab experiments.... for as long as possible so as long as they stay alive keep trying different type of sheat that would be too cruel to use animals for.

When you cover your need for lab and chemical trials subjects, start using them test and improve physical methods for "information gathering" (if you know what i mean).

I'm sure that people smarter than me, would have better suggestions, that could be put in a priority list....;?

To turn this into a learning experience, secondary drowning or otherwise known as "dry drowning" occurs after someone is pulled out of the water- and you think- is fine. In secondary drowning, fluid builds up in the lungs, called pulmonary edema, after a near-drowning incident. The fluid causes trouble breathing. So if you have a child who coughs up a lot after swimming and seems fine, you might want to take them to a hospital if it doesn't stop.

Why would anyone thing that is the way to treat any child let alone one that young. She could NOT have been enjoying even one aspect of that activity. That POS needs to be treated the same way, eye for eye. Take him offshore on say an aircraft carrier and repeatedly toss him off into the ocean, throw little life saving donut at him and bring him on board again - wash, rinse repeat until the job is done.

Not to derail= I'll just side track for my own purposes.

It's a story that catches a persons heart and rips it apart we tend to share our grief and outrage. My guess is you've never posted a negative story.;?

How it's glorifying this asshat I have no idea it's showing him for the dirt bag he really is.

Just as you couldn't control yourself and broke your own rule I couldn't control myself and posted the story.

If you despise my posts/threads sooooo much why do you click on them? Sounds like you have a problem with self control but I'm no doctor you may want to check into it on your own. Do you get some kind of pleasure out of reading my links??

Ignore is your friend, but I bet you don't have the discipline to do it.

a lot of the time post are made on emotion, horrible stories, feel good stories, unbelievable stories, cool stories, etc.

The feel good, positive ones, they die an early death.
Of course this is barring the "Post the best photo _______, threads..."

Saw that on the news (Univision) a few nights ago. I was thinking the whole time, "well, they are showing this on the news, so she must have lived". Nope. I had a very hard time going to sleep that night. That video really messed me up.

Careful, he might sick his pit bull on you, toss you into a Yeti, and hire a corrupt cop to dispose of you.

Dry and secondary drowning are quite different. Dry drowning is asphyxiation, which is believed to be caused by some sort of shock to the system; supposed triggers have been jumping into extremely cold water, inhaling water and the throat involuntarily closing. You jump into the pool and drown, but no fluids are found in the lungs.

Secondary drowning is much more common and scares the hell out of me. The short version of what bayfisher92 comes down to "A little water stuck ]in your lungs now makes a helluva lot of fluid in a few hours."
