Default THT Pet Peeves

In light of all too frequent and similar postings and since there are too many of us with nothing to do at work....

1) My Yamaha XXX has ran beautifully for the last 400 hours but last saturday wouldn't rev over XXXX RPM,,,,,,well no shiznit have you ever considered servicing the fuel filters?

2) I tow my 25' boat 75-80 all the time with my F-150......hehehehe Darwin will catch up to you soon enough lad, perhaps consider a lift kit if you're really in a hurry.

3) Anything posted by yhsesq

4) My motor isn't peeing.

5) Anything posted by yhsesq

6) My uncles boat only goes 25, what propeller should he get?

7) (Gulf Coast Section) Wheres the rip/bluewater/floaters?

Okay I feel better now, carry on.

Parallel (same subject) running threads.

My RAV4 can pull the space shuttle and a b52 up the ramp at the same time how far offshore can I go in this rotten rowboat with one ducked taped paddle?

It's okay, really. For the last 10 years kids only need to pass the end of year placement/apptitude test (called TEKS in Texas), actual education has given way in favor of little Johnnys school maximizing next years subsidy and computer class. But thats a whole 'nuther rant list.

Is my 20' 30 degree deep vee with single F300 underpowered?

Obviouslly, you forgot to consider the advantages of twin F350.

*
My 17' flatsboat runs wet all the time. It is the wettest boat I have ever ridden offshore.

Duh!

*
I'm going to tow my Montauk with an F150 is that safe?

No you need a diesel dually to tow it safely.

*
I only tow my CV36' with my Honda Pilot to the ramp and back. I don't need a truck.

E-TEC vs. E-tech.

It baffles me that so many new posters on THT get this wrong. Its 4 freaking letters!!
Surprisingly, I rarely see Yamaha or Suzuki spelled incorrectly-go figure.

Their are couple I have to but I just changed my prop and now I am getting low speed. My Rav 4 is towing my 25 footer. I can not post pictures and I would really appreciate some advise on what to do. Has anyone been on the Sand Bar lately?? Looks real tippy.

People who hi-jack threads to tell others that they shouldn't finance toys.

Because everyone is rich enough to pay cash for a new 32 yellowfin...

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

The use of apostrophes runs all over me sometimes too (or is it to or two?).

Agreed, Boaters that don't know the difference between gallons per hr. (gph) , miles per hour (mph) , & miles per gallon (mpg).
