If sunny, Bermuda works great. Put down seasonal rye to stabilize the slope while the permanent grass comes in. Spread hulled Bermuda and keep well watered. The rye will come in within a very few days, with the Bermuda coming in later. The Bermuda spreads and has a good root base, handles hot weather well, and can be ignored and still grow.

Bermuda is honestly the best for this situation, I was a Sales Rep for Color Spot Nurseries for years. Bermuda is tough and resilient, hope this helps.

Bermuda if you want to maintain it, lovegrass if you don't want to mow it. Both are good southern grasses. It is getting a little late to place them. You better hurry.
