Default Why does ITunes suck so bad?

I swear, I have more trouble with Itunes. I use it for my Iphone 6. Seems that every other time I use Itunes, I get error messages, etc. I just tried transferring music I bought on my phone to my Itunes library and get a error msg. Should not be this difficult.

I also have a hi-res audio player that I just drag files (or cut and paste) to and it works flawlessly. Even windows media player doesn't cause me issues.

Why can't Apple get it right?

Next phone for me will be android, no doubt.

Really strange what apple has done with itunes. The interface has gotten worse over the years. Problems with moving music. I would imagine a lot has to do with DRM and apple is focusing on phones and watches.

iTunes is a huge WIP, Work in Progress. The problem is it doesn't bring in as much revenue as it used to when people actually were buying songs at 99cents a piece. Now people are just streaming or listening to internet radio, driving down revenue. They tried rolling out their own radio but it isn't having much success.

I have always thought iTunes was difficult to use and very un-intuitive (if that's even a word)? If I had a dollar for every time I griped "It shouldn't be so difficult to use this stuff" I'd be retired.

The first generation of iTunes was fairly easy to navigate, but I agree it has become an abysmal mess for managing your playlists.

I often boat far offshore so the cloud is useless out there. I have my music stored on an older iTouch iPod and love it but hate the iTunes manager.

There I got it out of my system!

I still like to buy and listen to albums, not just stream music. I use Pandora and Slacker quite a bit also. I never have gotten into the buy one song off an album thing...

I use a Hi-Res player for my main library and use Iphone and Itunes when I don't want to carry the extra player.

Agreed. Since iTunes/iCloud is the basis for all their devices (your online account identity), I have stayed away from their devices.

I am using Android since Google does all the account identity easily. I know Google gets a bad rap for storing your data but it works.

ITunes, the only reason our whole family got rid of ALL our Apple devices. I know we are not alone. It is a shame because I did like my Iphone a lot, It always worked and worked well.

I guess I'm in the minority. I've never had a problem with iTunes. That said, it's been years since I used iTunes on a non-Apple device.

I'm subscribed to iTunes match, so my music is on my home computer (Macbook Pro), and in iCloud. All of it is available on all Apple devices using my Apple ID (4 including the MBP).

My library contains a mix of music (full albums) originally from CDs, downloads purchased from iTunes, or downloads purchased elsewhere. All of it works just fine.

Naw, people tend not to give accolades when they are happy, but whine when they are not. Never had an issue with it personally.

This; we had 4 iphones 2 ipads, completely switched 4 android phones and 2 lenovo android tablets, itunes got so bad my wife refused to sync her iphone.

I reinstalled it, tried a different computer, etc. Not to mention, one time we were going on vacation and I wanted to throw some movies onto the ipads, yeah right took half a day to get them into the right format.

What does he do when he has no internet?

Not to mention, no Apple device, no Apple cloud...

Their first mistake was having a proprietary MP3 format (and that was right out of the gate). Someone thought, Yeah, let's make it difficult for people to use the music they own in any other way. That was enough for me. I'm not an apple fan, never have been, never will be. It's for the sheeple,

I still have one of the original MP3 players I purchased way back before even Ipods hit the streets. It's a whopping 128mg key that takes a AAA battery and still works like a charm.

I switched to an Iphone at my last renewal over a year ago and have been completely underwhelmed.. disappointed actually, with my entire experience.

Itunes, the cloud, backing up the phone, all of it..
Buy a song.. Oh wait.. you want that as a ring tone? Buy it again.

What a scam.
I'll be switching back.

I use Amazon prime music. Never buy songs from Apple. I converted all my songs from iTunes to mp3 and store them on Amazon cloud. Only buy music from Amazon. Just download the app and works on any device: iPhone, Android, and through my fire stick to listen at home.
