Sometimes you have a problem and they need to be fixed/adjusted. Also, watch a couple videos on people breaking into gun safes ......you will be a liberty customer after that.

Suggestion: Securely bolt it to the floor.

Had a local guy recently who had a big safe in his bedroom. He felt it was so heavy there was no need to bolt it down.

Someone(s) broke in wrapped safe with a snatch-rope then threw the rope through a window to a waiting truck, they then pulled the safe through the wall.
Safe was found a few miles away under a bridge, badly damaged but never breached.

Guy got safe and all contents back but the damage to his house was, according to the victim, way more than what was in safe.

They never hold the number they claim to be. So always buy bigger than you think.

x2

No matter how big it is, you WILL fill it up with alot of other stuff besides guns. (Don't forget cases of ammo too)

Titles to vehicles, tax returns, jewelry, bullion, spare car keys, wills, deeds, family heirlooms, life insurance policies, old pictures, gps numbers, cash....just to name a few off the top of my head!

It's nice to be able to leave town and not care if someone breaks in. Joke will be on them!

If all you need is a security container that can be bolted to the floor, Costco usually runs a pretty good special. I've bought two from them and find them to be secure enough for my needs after bolting into concrete. 30 minutes of fire protection suits my needs as I have excellent firearms insurance.

Buy an old Wells-Fargo armored truck at an auction house and put it up on blocks out back like I did. Probably same cost as a decent safe but holds a helluva lot more. They have a bunk or two which works out well as a dog house when yer get into some trouble with the Admiral
