Default Question for those with big dogs, K9 Ballistics pet BEDS

My 2 dogs have passed their puppyhood already, so destroying their beds is not a big issue anymore, but still you never know...
somebody on a facebook group for big dogs I lurk into, brought up this K9 Ballistics brand and highly recommended. Aside from being harder to get chewed up and torn apart, the seem to be really easy to clean up...
http://k9ballistics.com/index.php/ou...pedic-bed.html

Anybody here that have experience with this brand?
I would like to get the outdoor type, but I would prefer to hear from actual owners before investing any type of $ so the dog can sleep better....

I have a bull mastiff. She chewed through the k-9 ballistic pretty quick. No more bed for her. She doesn't seem to mind.

Bummer.... I was hopping it would be a good option...Bull Mastiffs are strong dogs and beutifull... how old was your dog when he/she destroyed the K9 ballistic?

Not sure they are any better but Kong brand bed matts are pretty tough and very water proof cleanable. They are half that price. Plus Petsmart was running a buy one get one half off on Kong accessories deal on them a few weeks back. May still be

She's two I would say it was about six months ago. She seems to be slowing down. I might try again in six months.

She is my second one. My first one ate her bed about the same age. Cost about 4 k at the vet to get her cleared out. That is why I bought the ballistic this time.

German Shepard / Border Collie mix...65 lbs on the male..55 or so for the female.

Using something I got from Costco two years ago..and now beat up...and need new ones.

In fact just the other day my dogs gave me an ultimatum..either they get new ...or they're filing homestead rights on my bed.

Just out of curiosity, The Ballistic bed you bought, was the nesting one (more fluffy) or the orthopedic one (more firm)? was it easy to clean while it lasted?

Really nice dogs!!! mine are closer to the 100 pound each one and currently using a carpet door mat as their bed... not really comfy, and they tend to beat them up when try to dig in them to curl down...

There is nothing, including those toys designed for tigers, that my pit bull can't destroy within 10 minutes if he wants to. The ballistic "unwreckable" stuff is BS. I have tried every brand.

Orvis makes a bed that is supposed to be chew proof. I think the warranty it if your dog tears it up

It was nesting type. Didn't last long enough that it needed complete cleaning but slobber and stuff wiped off pretty easy.

It might hold up to non bull dog types. I would try it.

I have an almost 10 year old 110# Weimeraner. He sleeps on a posturpedic dog beg. He actually has 2 of them. Wife got them off of wayfair. He would destroy the cheap ones from Sam's or Target. These are holding up

My 13 year old Lab/Shep mix has three beds. A regular Orvis, high end foam Orvis(wife's purchase) and some type of gel chill mat. Dog spends 99% of her time sleeping on the hardwood floor that on occasions causes her to limp around the next day or two.

I like the Orvis beds and they seem durable, just wish she would sleep in the damn thing.
