Default SOLD!!!!Free ACR GlobalFix NEEDS BATTERY (N Broward)

My epirb went off the other day and I bought a new one. The old one is about 8 years old and had the battery replaced about 2 years ago.

You will need to get the battery replaced and and the unit tested. I also no longer have the bracket but if you want one I saw that they are available on eBay,

With the recent tragedies we have heard about I thought this would be a good thing for someone that does not have one now.

PM me if you want it and I will call you with my address. You need to pick it up.

I will wait until someone local responds. If not then I might ship. I am lazy.

I'm interested... I going to check and see what it'll cost to rehab it... if it's still around.

Joe- Did you take care to cancel the personal and vessel data registered with that old EPIRB code signal? If the new owner sets it off accidentally or there is a real emergency you don't want anyone searching or attempting to contact you. Never assume a new owner will take care of that in timely fashion.

Did you experience an emergency situation requiring EPIRB deployment or was it on by accident ?
If the former, glad you are apparently OK.
If the latter ...what was the result??
