Default Help! My schoolmate lost at sea - Reward!

My schoolmate, Austin Stephanos and a friend of his are presumed lost at sea . They left Jupiter Inlet on Friday around noon in a white 19ft single engine SeaCraft in what appears to be an attempt to cross over to the Bahamas. The family is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help locate them. The family's FaceBook page can be found here:

https://www.facebook.com/margaux.stephanos?pnref=story

Thanks for any help,

Caleb

That is so sad. That reward should not be necessary. I think everyone on here would even pay that $10K if it could magically bring those kids back.

Agreed on that.

Do people think they were actually trying to get to the Bahamas? If so, is there a chance they made it and are simply being 14 and irresponsible about getting in touch? Good luck to them and everyone involved.

Hang in there and try to stay positive. Hopefully the conditions are favorable and coasties have some luck. That is a relatively high traffic area. Best wishes.

I'll keep my eyes peeled but I'm South of you and probably not much help.

He looks like a tough kid and will probably be found tired, scared and thirsty somewhere off Melbourne.

After he's found I bet he will only admit to being thirsty.
