Default Adobe and a Mac

I've read that Adobe is on the way out. Does anyone know what else can be used, and where to get it? I have a Mac Pro and Safari 7.1.2 if that helps.

I ditched adobe acrobat and went with Bluebeam, I don't know if they make it for a Mac, once you use it you will not be able to figure how to live without it.

jkap: interested in what you use that for. OSX has the ability to open or save things as a pdf, which is about my speed and I use those functions frequently. What would I pick up with Bluebeam?

Adobe Flash. I've heard too many security problems. Wouldn't mind getting rid of them all if I can.

I am in construction management. Use it to mark up PDFs imbed imagines in emails, sort PDFs, alter the text in them, digitally stamp things, compare two PDFs. It will cloud changes between two that are similar. I could go on and on. It is an awesome program.

Thats pretty funny. Only about 99% of all graphic artist, printing and add companies use their software. I personally use 7 of their programs

Adobe is not going anywhere with 99% of their products. Flash is slowing becoming less common but

I am sure Adobe is awesome and I am sure the full version of acrobat does everything bluebeam does. A company I was with went with one of the early versions because it was cheaper, I just picked it up and never went back. One thing I really like is as you open more PDFs it just makes another tab vs another window. When you email from it, it makes the subject of the email the title of the document.
