Default FedEx package delivered?

and nowhere to be found...was supposedly left on front porch at 10:01am Thursday. Not there...girlfriend home all day and never heard anything.

UPS dropped their 3 packages off that evening and received those.

Item was ordered off of Amazon...I'm a Prime member, but this wasn't Prime eligible. The seller obviously sent something if it tracked here. What can I do?

Advise merchant it was not received. Many of them will take your word for it.

I did that tonight, so hoping to hear back from tomorrow. Just asked them to check on it from their end at this point.

FedEx says delivered at 1:01pm (I guess Amazon settings are different). No doorbell or knock from FedEx...is that the norm? UPS dings the bell.

Kind of pissed as this was a replacement item for something I ordered wrong the first time so this is starting to sting with return shipping/re stocking fee...

Which Fed Ex? If it was Fed Ex Ground, good luck. They don't have the same business model as Fed Ex Express.

Fedex Home I think...will have to double check. I am guessing it may have gone to another house...If so, I hope it shows up. I just cancelled the phone number I had for that delivery, too.

Likely will be there tomorrow... Driver likely was running late and scanned it. Not legit, but they do it.

Ordered a 55" LG TV last Christmas. Came home around dark and the TV was on the front porch in the original package. I got lucky.. anybody riding by could've stolen that thing.

What do I do? Go around knocking on doors? I would think if someone around me got my package, they would have dropped it off by now

Going through the same thing now with USPS, I let the Amazon merchant know and they told me to check with my neighbors, what a joke. I demanded either a replacement overnighted or a refund.

How well do you know your neighbors? If it`s something they would like, then it might not show up.

This happened to me with FedEx about a year ago. About a week later, the lady from 3 houses down the street came home from a trip & found it in her carport.

Odds are good that they delivered to wrong address. It is possible that they delivered and someone swiped it, but that tends to happen more often around the holidays. Usually you'll get it - you may have to have the sender open an investigation though, for some reason I think you as the recipient can't do that.

Triple check the info you gave weathertech, easy to transpose a # and the CC address validation won't catch it.

I've accidentally received and held onto neighbors packages for a couple days before - got home late, saw the box, didn't want to bother them, late for work the next am and their car wasn't in the driveway etc... it's worth a knock on their door, although weathertech floor mats are usually in a huge box so that's less likely.

The only vendor I've ever had NOT handle that situation easily was west marine, who insisted that it wasn't their problem and made me do a chargeback with my CC company to recover my $.

I called FedEx...they have supposedly started an investigation. My house is 1 year old in a 50+ year old neighborhood and some GPS software doesn't have address (not to mention, the numbers are very screwy in the order, or lack of order). UPS gets it right (and FedEx, not sure which service, has found the house several times, too).

Hoping it shows up today.

I know them pretty well....lots of older folk so they wouldn't keep it, especially since it is specific to my vehicle. I may do a lap around the hood tonight just checking porches.
