Default HVAC Guys - tool question

I bought a vacuum pump at a pawn shop, to try to bag some fiberglass parts. I would like to replace the oil, other than the "manufactures recommend", what do you use? How often should I change the oil?

Build a good resin trap, as for oil changes. Pulling atmospheric vapor is quite different than 400 microns at minimum with a Sealed system and the possible contaminates from the oils within said system.
I would guess, that without introducing other liquid chemicals you should see 50-100 hrs of run time without loss of vaccum desired.
In your application, how many inches of vacuum are you looking for ?
Bleeder cloth is your friend and will go a long way.
