Default Pontoon Guys- Avalon?

asking for a friend- freshwater usage- mostly drinking beer boat- maybe pull a tube around, he's looking at Avalon brand- I've never heard of them. My limited knowledge here says Manitou-Bennington, what say you THT Pontoon guys?

I'm not a toon guy, but they have a bunch of boats on display right now at the Dallas boat show. I looked heavily at them this past Friday. They look real nice. I didn't see any reason I would buy a different toon over them.

They look nice.

Had to laugh at your, "mostly beer drinking boat" comment.

Some on here are gonna filet you over that.

Not me. Cheers.

I thought it, but he said he is asking for a friend, so I won't hold him accountable for his friends foolishness.

Tritoon or Pontoon? Bennington has the best handling tritoon with the ESP package, in the pontoon I think the advantage of bennington is the warranty.

Avalon has a well deserved reputation. Just stay away from Bentley...built in my hometown. The owner is known for offering a cheaper boat made with even cheaper components.

Premier is another quality name.

thanks for the feedback Welshtrree- to anyone freakin about drinking beer on a pontoon- chill out, I was trying to explain this boat isn't going to be running 60 miles in 3-5's (unless we are talking inches of wave height), the buyer is a responsible parent, and what is wrong with having a couple of beers responsibly on a pontoon on a private lake going 4 mph????

hopefully there is a Barny Fife on his lake to ensure he doesn't get out of hand and have some fun...

I just sold a avalon and it was a great boat. Also the company is great mine was used and out of warranty but they took my calls and sent me out some parts, didn't charge me for some clips that held the glass door on the console.
