I had always thought that. I never let it get to me, figgered it was just a game I had to play along with to get a price I could accept. The last time I got a nice 'merican gal (really!) who was just super. She was from Iowa, or Nebraska, or somewhere like that. The experience was so good I just had to send an email to her supervisor.

Cancelled it in almost all of my vehicles because of this. Calling me from the Philippines with some Hispanic name and the worst accent telling me they are located in Jacksonville.

The Worst.

In General XM customer service is horrible. I have to deal with almost daily ( I sell cadillac and Buicks)
I tell my customers to NEVER put your credit card on file.

Every once in a while you get a keeper. Just not very often.

XM is bad enough if you have to call, if you can do what your needing online with XM that seems to be the way to go. The worst i've found is OnStar.

They have dicked up so many transactions over the years...

I get a gut wrench everytime I have the need to try and work something out with them.

I usually let my wife handle it. She just cancels for a few weeks...they offer us the special package for six months and we sign up again. Sad, but it is the best way to deal with them..!

Dell
Comcast
Direct TV

I'm not sure which is the worst, I think there's a competition we don't know about and there must be some company picnic where the worst gets a bonus.

About 6 months ago the emails I receive from XM started "locking up" my Outlook when I try to delete them. I can go through the list deleting and I get to a XM email and Outlook freezes for sometimes up to 20-30 seconds.

I've had numerous customer service problems with Sirius/XM over the years, but I always get a good deal on my subscription. I have to call once a year and renew. If things start going south and it doesn't look like I'm going to get a deal, I hang up and try again. It's a PIA but works out in the end. Been doing it over 10 years for 2 cars.

With Spotify and Pandora... remind me why anyone still has XM...

And don't say Howard... he hasn't been good in 20 years. LOL.

I noticed the other day that what used to cost me $12.95 a month was up to over $18 by the time they add all of the new fees that didn't used to be there. I've been dreading it but I need to call and threaten to cancel to get them to lower it. It's worth $13 but not 18. At least not to me.
