XM customer service

Sucks so so bad. That is all.

silverg 07-13-2015 07:42 AM

Ranks up there with the worst ever.

Tingum 07-13-2015 07:46 AM

As bad as AT&T?

kone 07-13-2015 10:11 AM

I had always thought that. I never let it get to me, figgered it was just a game I had to play along with to get a price I could accept. The last time I got a nice 'merican gal (really!) who was just super. She was from Iowa, or Nebraska, or somewhere like that. The experience was so good I just had to send an email to her supervisor.

Cancelled it in almost all of my vehicles because of this. Calling me from the Philippines with some Hispanic name and the worst accent telling me they are located in Jacksonville.

The Worst.

In General XM customer service is horrible. I have to deal with almost daily ( I sell cadillac and Buicks)
I tell my customers to NEVER put your credit card on file.

Every once in a while you get a keeper. Just not very often.

weems 07-13-2015 10:46 AM

Right up there with comcast.

I called to re-up my $25 for 5 months, they wouldn't do it so I just cancelled.

kilowatt 07-13-2015 11:00 AM

XM is bad enough if you have to call, if you can do what your needing online with XM that seems to be the way to go. The worst i've found is OnStar.

Nothing, I say NOTHING is as bad as Sirius!

They have dicked up so many transactions over the years...

I get a gut wrench everytime I have the need to try and work something out with them.

I usually let my wife handle it. She just cancels for a few weeks...they offer us the special package for six months and we sign up again. Sad, but it is the best way to deal with them..!

burningdaylight 07-13-2015 12:13 PM

Dell
Comcast
Direct TV

I'm not sure which is the worst, I think there's a competition we don't know about and there must be some company picnic where the worst gets a bonus.

silverg 07-13-2015 01:45 PM

About 6 months ago the emails I receive from XM started "locking up" my Outlook when I try to delete them. I can go through the list deleting and I get to a XM email and Outlook freezes for sometimes up to 20-30 seconds.

Madman14 07-13-2015 05:30 PM

I've had numerous customer service problems with Sirius/XM over the years, but I always get a good deal on my subscription. I have to call once a year and renew. If things start going south and it doesn't look like I'm going to get a deal, I hang up and try again. It's a PIA but works out in the end. Been doing it over 10 years for 2 cars.

floridian 07-13-2015 05:34 PM

Siriusxm, and Comcast. the worst ever. But yet, I pay them every month.

OldPete 07-13-2015 05:36 PM

With Spotify and Pandora... remind me why anyone still has XM...

And don't say Howard... he hasn't been good in 20 years. LOL.

williamwallus 07-13-2015 05:36 PM

I agree, they suck. I just use pandora and and my cell phone. Used to have it in 3 cars. 0 now. Useless crap.

ovrrdrive 07-14-2015 02:44 AM

I noticed the other day that what used to cost me $12.95 a month was up to over $18 by the time they add all of the new fees that didn't used to be there. I've been dreading it but I need to call and threaten to cancel to get them to lower it. It's worth $13 but not 18. At least not to me.

tint dude 07-14-2015 06:00 AM

This last time I have about had it with them. Why does this company have such bad business practices.
