Quick start and they've already demolished a section of chain link fence. More to come.....I hope not.

make sure the county or city is okay with it. A lot of counties require X number of trees on the lot and will fine ya for removing certain trees without replacements!

I got the permit needed for removal. It is a Laurel Oak, what they call a specimen tree but beyond it's life. There's a ton of dead and dying on it. Also making room for house construction.

High lift two=man bucket. Because of proximity to the neighbor's house, fence and power line, a lot of stuff is being cut short and roped to the ground. Pic doesn't do the tree justice. They got the easy half done. Most of the remaining is overhang.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you dug deep in the root of that company to see if they had insurance?

Hate to see something that probably pre dates the constitution come down, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

I'd bet that a lumber buyer would have paid to take down that tree. There's a "truckload" of Oak there!

It's knot that old, I'm going out on a limb saying it looks like a laurel oak, I was a little stumped at first.
