Default Bourbon trail !!!!

My best buddy and I are leaving out next Friday morning to meet my mom in Bristol Tennessee (half way point) and drop off my middle son to spend quality time with grandma for a week . After a night with mom in Bristol Saturday morning me and my buddy are heading up to Loretta Kentucky to tour makers mark distillery , then wood ford reserve Sunday . Tours are only a hour or so ... Call it 2 for gift shop take it in ect . Any good eats ? Any other attractions / sites to check out ? Appreciate the tips

Ha, I actually am sipping on some Makers myself as we speak. Cant beat it in my opinion. 2 weird things I love about it is that is smells sooo good for some reason. Also I love the sound it makes when you are pouring that first shot out of a new bottle.

Head up to Owensboro for moonlite bbq. Stay in bardstown or Louisville. Bars/restaurants on Bardstown road in Louisville are good. I lived there in the mid 90's so not sure what specific restaurants still exist. When I was there the mint juleps at Churchill downs were only made with early times. After an evening of sipping bourbon head off to skyline chili.
