This whole John Mayer touring with the Dead as his backups is a joke right?

its a plot on bob & billy's part to rid the world of that douche

"c'mon john, let's go on tour!"
he'll disappear under mysterious circumstances and when questioned, the 2 70-yr olds can just blame it on the roadies...

I thought the whole "the dead is touring" thing was a joke.

When I heard this I started trying to figure out who the hell John Mayer was. then all too soon I figured it out. God to Bobby, Bobby put it down and walk away slowly. Whats next Donna Godchaux is coming back? Please Id rather have 50 1st dates with Caitlin Jenner. Some one tell me I have slipped into some sort of alternative universe and this is all just a bad dream?! Almost as bad a dream as it was with The Dead touring and I had to get the night with Bob Dylan. why couldnt I have Willie Nelson , huh why? Dylan just wouldnt shut up. we were lucky enough to have Robert Hunter play a bit as well and that damn dinosaur Dylan kept coming out and interrupting every single song with his moaning and groaning, JUST MAKE IT STOP! Did any one else catch bobby in the let Trey sing shirt? total spoof on Donna . Im no Phish head and never will be but I certainly did enjoy what Trey brought to the Dead for the last 3 shows ( cali was a learing experience for them playing together). I would be totally stoked if it was Trey Bobby Billy and Mickey out touring and I wouldnt be surprised to see it!

Heh, heh - that was way overdue.

That's Tireless on keys and Chris on guitar.

Some of us keep that tucked away for "special occasions"!
