Default Ryobi- poll

OK, once and for all,
First world problems.

Just checking Jay A's thread on the weed whacker question and saw a youtube clip.
The only place I hear Ree-o-bee is on the commercials.
At work and everywhere else, it's Rye-o-bee.

How do you pronounce, Ryobi

Ree-o-bee
or
Rye-o-bee

Rye-o-bee

I used to work with an ex Ryobi executive.

Now that you mentioned it I also worked on a Ion Implanter for Hyundai and the Korean rep said the proper way to pronounce it was Hi-undie!

I pronounce it Ray-oh-be, I've had nothing but great luck with Ryobi products. I use my cordless powertools all the time (for a home owner), and after 5 + years I have no issues with them.

I agree. The old standard 18V batteries were terrible.
Since I bought the lithium batteries, it is like a totally different tool.
There are better tools out there but I have too many to just get rid of them.
Run them till they die.
