Who do you think has the neurosurgeons back ?

Glad you made it, and good to have you back. I too am a survivor, live life to its fullest each and every day.

Sucks, doesn't it....

Some comment as simple as mentioning God, divine intervention or what ever and it gets hammered before we leave the first page.

I am certain the poster that said it had all the best of intentions. His comments can be taken with a grain of salt, ignored or cherished.

Why make a big deal out of it?

I was just trying to tell the OP not to sweat the big questions. Focus on getting better, not on why you are where you are. Not on why it happened in the first place and not on why you survived. Just on getting better and appreciating each day on its own merits. I wasn't telling anyone what to believe.

You would have fit in better (around here) right after your release, but oh well. WELCOME BACK.

Just spent 2 days in Cullowhee Oniell469, #1 Son in WCU for Engineering!
Nice quiet place to recuperate, I'll be there often over the next 4-5 years.

Glad to hear you recovered.

I died -flatlined- on the operating table as they prepped me for emergency surgery on '09 (Ruptured aneurysm of my abdominal aorta). I gotta say, all the people who said this stuff vvv afterwards messed me up more than anything else. They mean well but it doesn't help at all. Don't worry about a plan, or wonder why you were saved when others weren't. Just live and enjoy and smell the roses. The rest will take care of itself. Good luck man!

Thanks guys for the negativity on HIS thread, we knew we could count on the few barnacles that always show up on "the hull".

Congratulations on the recovery. I know it has been a hard road. Give that wife of yours a great big hug every day, and tell her how much you love her (I'll bet you do that already). This story show that everyone needs an advocate! Thank God for your wife!

Glad to have you back!

Go search for:
1) etec threads

3) dog shooting threads

and you'll be all caught up! j/k.
