Default I need a punch. And not *that* kind of punch... LOL.

Take off the boxing gloves... I'm not talking about that kind of punch... although after realizing what I volunteered for... maybe I do need that kind. LOL...

I need a punch that will make a 2-3/4" round cut. I've seen the adjustable ones like this:
http://peoplepowerpress.org/collecti...-button-makers

But I'm looking for something that is more like a "punch" and not one where I have to rotate it...

Possible? They make it in 3" so I don't think it's a size limitation issue... it's for a button maker and the piece of paper that the button is printed on is a 2-3/4" round piece of paper...

Heck, I can even find a 2-1/2"... but it *must* be 2-3/4"

LOL... anything will be better than cutting them one by one with a pair of scissors... which simply isn't going to happen.

I don't care if you rig up a punch to a nuclear reactor... as long as you make it happen.

How bad do you want it? McMaster-Carr has them but at $143 they're pricey. Part number 3427A44.

The most I would need is 700, likely closer to 450. I *think* I can get 10-12 on a single sheet... I haven't messed with the layout yet since the design isn't done/approved yet. But it is a 100% certainty that I need them.

I believe it is just colored copy paper (or *maybe* one thickness up from regular copy paper).

What you thinkin'?

$143 is fine... but the problem is that I'm not the only person that will use it down the road... so it needs to be reasonably easy to use -- I'd be a little concerned about saying "here you go" and handing them that thing and a rock hammer. :D

No, just trying to save the THT crowd from a tale of woe, including wrong shade of paper, circles not right, paper cuts, wrong number, building inspectors, rant about NJ, etc.
