Default Disneybounding

I've just been invited to a birthday party of a couple that are turning 30. It is to be a Disneybounding themed party, which means you dress in character.

My first reaction is, I'm in my 50's are they F'n crazy, a Disney costume party at they're age, will they ever grow up?

Am I being an ass, would you go?

I think I'll be sitting this one out.

I love Disney but a Disney costume party? Time to grow up. I'd stay home if not great friends, if close friends I'd go for the entertainment of watching grown adults dress like Disney characters.

Go as a worn out, hot, tired and broke middle aged man.....in other words...a customer of Disney World.

You aught to go dressed as Fn Goofy.
Will it be an adult's only or will there be children as well? If adults only, they need some help.

My wife and I both like Disney and go atleast once a year. She sometimes goes twice.

After showing her this thread, she said it didn't sound like a bad idea. I, then asked her what she preferred, paper or plastic? When she asked me why the paper or plastic question, I told her that is what I would put her chit in if she ever entertained the idea of having such a paty.

Only kids will be mine, 5 and 7. I may drop on a pair or ears and have a drink, I doubt many will show up in costume.

Just to show you where their heads are they both got Disney tat's.

I guess those here that called me grumpy will be attending in full costume?

How fortunate for you that people think highly enough of you and yours to invite you to their party. Sounds like a marvelously thought out occasion.

I'd dress in a full on Goofy outfit with a big red rocket firework strapped to my crotch.

Go as Walt Disney, more fitting for your age! And you can boss them around!

Never been to a costume party before?

About midnight of every Halloween, after watching my kids and the neighbors kids, I always regret, "You know, I shoulda dressed up this year! Next year, I will."

I never do, but I should!

I think you should fully embrace the theme of the party and enjoy it.

You may not already know this, but Disney owns Star Wars. You should rock a Vadar costume, and threaten to "choke a bitch" with the force upon any snickering about your Disney costume choice.
