Default Bermuda Vacation

Heading to Bermuda in 2 weeks for vacation. Never been before and looking for suggestions on things that and must see and do. Also anything we should stay away from or just a tourist trap?

We are taking a cruise, so we will be docked for 3 days. Wife and kids going and we all agreed to lock cell phones in the safe once we board the ship. It will nice not being connected for a week. Now I need to go buy a watch

Be prepared for very very expensive food on the island. Gibbs Hill lighthouse, the most Holy Trinity church is neat and old. The crystal caves are cool . Goslings Rum factory

As stated above, there are 2 churches - a cathedral is in Hamilton (can't miss it) and the other is an old wooden one in St Georges. Just the construction will amaze you.
Take the buses just for the thrill of the ride. They drive like cabbies. Bermuda as a tourist stop has gone down in my estimation since they went to bring the mega ships in to the West end. All of the smaller ships would stop in Hamilton and St George's. Most of the touristy stuff there has dried up. The island is still great for relaxing.

No scooter rentals, we use 2 or 3 day bus/ferry pass to get around.

We were on Horseshoe Bay beach at 9:00 am just to say we have seen it and before the crowds show up. Then we hiked the shoreline over to Warwick Long Bay, it was an adventure that we would do again. Along the way we passed by Chaplin Bay, that's where we spent the rest of the day.

Check the ferry schedule for which day has the latest return from St. Georges ferry terminal on go there on that day.

Take the ferry over to St. Georges ferry terminal then walk or taxi to St. Catherin's beach just past Tobacco bay beach.,-64.6736732,15z
