Default Driving like nuts

Going through the city today along the main avenue when this woman catches my attention in my rearview mirror. She's talking on her cell phone, weaving in and out of both lanes, tailgating everyone she can, she manages to catch a break and gets past the slower drivers, she blows past me and gets stopped at the next light. I come to a stop right beside her and motion to her to slow it down a little.

The light turns green and she takes off yet again, now we are going through a school zone consisting of 3 schools, 2 public and 1private. She does her best to weave around the traffic and advances but gets caught at the next light (the great equalizer), I again come to a stop right beside her. I open my window and motion to her to open hers. She is very reluctant so I know she knows she's wrong, She opens it about 4" and I tell her, "Your driving at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of lanes without a signal and talking on your cell phone, slow it down and get off the phone."

She asks me if I was a cop, I asked what difference does it make? Her reply, "Cause if you ain't a cop I don't give a crap." With that she rolled up her window.

I wanted to get out (which never would) and slap the piss out of her, she wasn't some kid, she was at least 28 and should know better.

To her credit something did register cause she then drove at a more acceptable speed and without the lane changing.

End Rant

you should have side swiped her and pushed her up over the curb, disabling her car. that way she wouldn't endanger anyone for awhile. It would of been your civic duty

I was feeling the same way today! I must have used my horn at least 10 times at drivers that took waaay too long to move after a light changed, drifting into my lane, and some going 30 in a 45.

All of them were either texting, on the phone, or eating.....One guy appeared to be watching a video on an Ipad on the steering wheel.

I dont see many people texting or on the phone in NY, but here in Atlanta every other car has a driver holding a phone.

I was rear ended and the driver pulled up next to me and threw something into my window then sped away! Not knowing what he threw because it landed on the truck floor I followed him. reaching over to pick up my cell phone I saw a wallet on the floor and it wasn't mine! It still didn't register until I saw him pull into the hospital. I looked into his wallet and it contained over $300.00 plus all his credit cards! By then the police showed up and found out his wife was rushed to the hospital after her water broke 2 weeks earlier than expected. Turns out he hit my trailer hitch and no damage to my truck. I told the police to forget about it. The police must have given him my name because later that night he called me to apologize and say his wife gave birth to a healthy boy! Turns out I met him about a year later and we had a good laugh.

Uplifting story and unusual to hear in today's world.

and the beauty of that is, you're in south Florida. They swerve into you while doing any of those things, you can't prove they were, they hire a lawyer and sue you for "injury", and your insurance company pays.

Happens hundreds of times a day down there.

That's typical Indian Head Highway every time I have to run to our office in Alexandria. Only it is at least 50 percent of the drivers. Other 30 percent are going slow in the fast lane. 80 mph from stop light to stop light, swerving from lane to lane, only to be at the same stoplight with the few people driving normally. Not even worth wasting a breath over.

We all know traffic in Atlanta is horrendous and future Darwin Award winners are all over the place. This morning on my commute to downtown ATL, I saw a woman breast feeding her child while she was driving in nasty traffic. At first I was not sure I saw what I thought I saw, but as cars jockey's back and forth, I got several more looks to confirm.
Obviously the Mom would be no loss to the gene pool, but I cannot stand to think what would happen to the infant if she were to get in an accident!

Well if you stayed out of the left lane she could have passed without these issues.

In my younger days, my girlfriend was really crazy about sex. Got plenty of hummers driving down the interstate. Even did the wild thing a few times while driving down the road. Boy I miss that girl!

if there were more people in this world like YFMF, these incidents of complete stupidity and complete disregard for anyone else but themselves would go back to the decades where people were told off when they did something like this!

Today, all folks do is bitch, bitch, bitch, but take no action to stop the behavior!

A world of pussies!
