Ran across it while on youtube.
No wonder the sea floor is barren where they are.
They work better then a Roomba Vacuum.

Many years ago we would fish a pier at Wellfleet Cape Cod and catch squid with hook and line and also 3-10 spider crabs just hanging on. We used the squid for flounder bait.
Set the rig on the pier and let them find their way back to the edge. They were black and looked just like a huge spider. Don't remember them having pincher claws that size, just walking legs. Guess they had to eat/ hunt somehow.

Yeah, learned that lesson. I somehow hooked a huge one fishing with a buddy in California. I was like "Yee-Haw! Crab for dinner!" He just looked at me with a blank stare and said "Throw it back, they're absolutely worthless. All shell, no meat."
