My dream finish:
Hard Merchandise wins big
Hot Tuna close second
Tyler third
Paul gets lost on his way back to the dock
Tuna.Com sinks at the dock with Dave on board

I like .com . They got a bad rap during the edited telecast. TJ's crew needs to eat some crow

Does anyone know why those guys anchor in one spot -vs- drifting? I would think drifting would increase their odds of catching a tuna. Sitting in one spot can't be the most efficient way to fish. Is it because they chum to try to get the fish to them? They could chum while they drift, can't they?

Other than seeing who comes out on top. Just watch any episode there all the same. It's a shame cuz it's a great concept. I actually enjoy watching the harpoon guys more.

Marciano sure seems to praise his son a lot. Jay is the one there day in and day out.

why? Harpooning seems to have no challenge...no fight.....literally shooting fish in a barrel once they find them. and...with a plane helping...just no sport in it at all imho

I agree. Reminds me of bow fishing at night. IMO its not very sportsman like, but if money or hunger is on the line - then sportsmanship goes out the window.

And Marciano said Jay was best deckhand in fleet several times. Jay IS a damn good fisherman.
