Default Acura MDX update

A year has gone by already. This week last year I bought the Admiral an Acura MDX for Christmas. She has put 12400 miles on it and it has never been back to the dealer except for the scheduled service intervals. I have to say that the SUV has been problem free , no rattles and nothing has fallen off. It still rides solid and tight, granted its only been a year but she loves it. So far I'm going to give her vehicle a ...

My SUV is her hand me down and its been flawless as well..2003 Denali XL Go GMC !

She is a redheaded irish girl so maybe there is something to the "luck" thing..

Theyre very good trucks. I convinced my mother to get one about 7 months back, and she loves it. No problems at all. Its her third Acura overall. They are awsome vehicles.

my wife loves her as well. We got it the last week in December last year and after 18K miles and many road trips it has been flawless.

it is also reassuring that she has all wheel drive with the colder weather up here in MD. We are from the south so we tend to freak out when it flurries.

Trucks...that's funny. My V10 Excursion is a truck...my wife's MDX is a sportscar. She has a 2001 model with 75,000 miles and she will not part with it. It's a great SUV if you actually like the sensation of driving a car.

They are nice cars (certainly not a truck), but do you really consider 12 or 13k miles to be a test?

If you don't want a jap car, don't ever test drive one.

Let me know how that MDX is doing after 50k, 75k or 100k miles..

12400 miles is nothing..

Heck, my wife's Taurus has almost 50k miles (we average about 18k per year) and it has never been to the shop other than oil changes and rotate/balances. The tires have little to no wear, looks new and it runs like it just rolled off the lot. When I drive it, I don't baby it either - it's like my sports car after driving the truck!

I do agree that 12,400 is nothing milewise...But so far so good.
Yes ,the little SUV is fun to drive having the "sport car"feel to it. I drive it maybe once a week and its got plenty of pep and the handling is very responsive.
The reason my wife gave me her denali XL is it was too trucklike and too big for her. No complaints from me and it tows my boat with ease. I only have 30k on it..We don't drive very far.

wow, I truely wish I could get away with that sort of milage, I've put 35k on my truck in the last year, and that's with being on the road in a company vehicle for nearly 3 months.
