A 9,000$ REPAIR for a watch just made my head explode. I operate WAAYY at the other end of the spectrum and it's actually quite fun to find the best watches in that super super low price category. But trust me, I'm eyeing that perfect deal on an Omega Aqua-Terra (specific color requirements, of course). Still pales in comparison to a Patek.

Seiko Coutura kinetic. Best watch I've ever owned. Never loses time, never wind it, never change a battery and don't recall setting the date even for leap year.

But no bling factor.

I do like that combo, but currently my top two are the Gauss with black face and yellow/black second hand. And the Golf edition because I think the green accents look sweet. I've seen another version that has orange accents, I believe, and really like that too but I haven't seen it on the used market at all.

Hey 240, can we get some more info on the strap you selected for your incredible time piece?

This is the orange one I mentioned. I'd switch out to a metal bracelet for daily wear though.

On the other wrist, I could see you rocking a Luminox. Maybe a blue dial.

I've always wanted a stainless Submariner. I remember seeing them in the case at Mayor's Jewelers when I was a kid. They were like $900.00 which looked like $9K at the time.

I know many old school badass divers that wear the basic Submariner.

The Luminox or a Tag would be a nice compromise.

There's some funny comments here! Can't beat Revenge, though. Here's what I am wearing today and do wear whenever I wear a watch.

College graduation present. Has been pretty good - serviced once (something broke and it would not stay wound) in 15 years to the tune of $400 which was more than all previous watches combined. I like it.
