Why are so many people convinced she is guilty?

It's nice that Italy's screwy legal system finally got this right.

EDIT:

If you want to understand how this got to this point, read a book called The Monster Of Venice: A True Story. This article from The Atlantic magazine is an abridgement.

The prosecutor is a raving lunatic.

I thought she was hot, not liking the new hair and yellow teeth. Next boyfriend should sleep with one eye open.......

She is the babe - I could never convict her. But when it first came out it sure looked like she was in with a bunch of druggies. Thought she was guilty but changed my mind after I fell in love.

While we're at it I say free Jody Arias too. She is way too hot for prison.

You mean the Monster of Florence, by Douglas Preston. Preston also put out an 'essay' on the handling of the Amanda Knox case.

No she's been back in the states a couple years. Think she was in prison there a couple years til t was overturned. Then she returned here but Italy decided to try her again since they don't have a "double jeopardy" type thing. She never showed for the second trial since it was BS nor do I think the US would have extradited Her anyway.

Good for her. Italy should be made to pay and pay dearly for the 4 years this girl spent in prison and the debacle they referred to as her trial.

thanks for the link - an interesting read - I may read the book.

I do think Amanda Knox deserved some jail time though because she lied and falsely accused an innocent man - that's pretty low IMHO.
