Gas here finally to to $1.99 then promptly went to around $2.30.
The dealers could not stand it going for less than 2.
I am hoping it stays where it is long enough to fill the boat a couple of times.

After weeks of going up (like everywhere else), price went down 6 cents locally today. I was wondering if it's just local or national and will it continue to hold, go back up or go down further?

It was going down... leveled off and then started to creep back up... now it seems to be going down very slowly again.

I think they are trying to find a spot where the voters will still buy that Obama made prices low and yet the economies that need expensive oil will be viable.

It's all a total game and BS.

We are the last to feel prices drop, and the first to feel it increase.... This drop that's coming is not good news for the economy so it's bittersweet.

I have to admit that every dam car today nearly gets 30 mpg. I very begrudgingly believe that's about the only relatively smart move the EPA and POTUS has made in a long time. (Forcing manufacturers to get certain mpg). Don't get me wrong I hate every other move they've made across the board.

If you look at US Consumption it's WAY down and mainly in part because of efficient vehicles.

Same here. All it takes is one news reporter to say that gas is going to go back up and all of the dotheads that own all of the stores in my town immediately go out and raise it as high as they think they can get away with. Gas in the next town to the north has like 20 cents more tax per gallon than we do and right now their gas is actually cheaper at the pump than ours is.

My thought is that it's because the people that sell gas hate America and Americans. The local dealers have put this entire county into a recession out of pure greed. But they're the first one's to tell you how patriotic they are and how much they love us... Yeah right.
