I've recently been traveling with this: http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/...IPACK-40p6.htm

Easy access in an overhead bin, a long drive, or hike.

I have a Patagonia laptop bag I use, I've had it several years and it's tough as nails.

I love my Filson lap top bag/brief case. But for prolonged flying trips (multiple cities) I sometimes switch to a tumi. Much more travel friendly.

I really like my Ogio Renegade. Lots of pockets

Not sure how much room you need for a projector

Zuca backpack. Many nice, well-thought-out features. Easily carries my 13" MacBook Pro, files and assorted work supplies. Downside is it is only available in black.

I think I have a Tumi laptop case that is on wheels that I don't use. Let me know if you are interested. Would be good stand-alone, but not if you are traveling with other wheeled pieces.
