Default Who Coined The Phrase "Throwing Someone Under The Bus" ???

Why not throw them off a bridge or out a moving vehicle, or out the plane?? Maybe poor people get thrown under the Bus while rich people get thrown under the Porshe?

I would think that would be the General Electric Corporation.
We always fix the blame first.
Never mind the true root cause.

Cyndi Lauper quoted as saying in The Washington Post in 1984: "In the rock ’n’ roll business, you are either on the bus or under it. Playing 'Feelings' with Eddie and the Condos in a buffet bar in Butte is under the bus."

I was crushed to find out that wasn't true.
