Default Pit Bull video, you be the judge.

I found this video online and thought it had a very strong message.

Disclaimer: None of these are my words, I didn't keep track of the statistics, my opinion has nothing to do with this video. I thought the video provided what I think is unbiased fact, but again my opinion has nothing to do with the statistics or the video.

Personal comment: I don't give a rats ass if you have 1 or 100 pit bull's, it's your choice to take the risk. Every person that has had a pit bull turn on them or their kids thought the same way all pit bull lovers feel but guess what......they were wrong! Imagine your child literally being eaten by an animal, if you want to take that risk it's on you.

I could only take 2 1/2 minutes of that and there weren't any blood and guts so I had to shut it down. Disclaimer, I have no Pitties. Just attack cats commonly known as Fussy Pussies.

I had my pit on my boat all the time. Does that count?

Can't get the video to play for some reason but I'm guessing it's some compilation of vicious pit attacks? I agree. Those pits in the video are dangerous. All I can do is show you 12 years worth of pics of my pit playing with my kids, enjoying the boating life, playing fetch, etc. without a single incident. I'm guessing that won't change anyone's opinion one way or the other though...so the debate continues.

Sometimes I don't understand why some people dislike Americans. Then there's your post, and I get it.

It's about as bad as the cop bashing threads. Some of them are deserved and others...well it's just too much.

Man all them kids! That's sad. I posted earlier about it, but I'll type it again. We had a pit growing up, my dad bought for a attack dog, and he had it trained.

I will always remember what the trainer told him. "do not let your kids play around him, or never make real sudden moves, because it can trigger an attack."

Pits are the most likely breed to really hurt somebody. Does not mean there are not some great pits out there, but you are at a higher risk of attack by owning one.

All my life I knew how dangerous they were, and always took it as common knowledge. Then I started reading THT, and was amazed that there is people that don't know this. And even go as far as letting them be family dogs.

No actually it's not, it doesn't have a single picture of blood or guts. It's an informational video from Dogs Bite organization about pit bulls. No shocking pictures of chewed up people, it's simply informational.

For those that don't like the thread at least check out the video and before you say any $hit. I am openly against pit bulls and YES I have had personal experience with them biting people. I can show you the picture of a dead pit bull that had to be shot 4 times to get him to let go a buddies wife's hand.

In my opinion I don't care if you own a pit bull and I have no doubt some of them have been perfect dogs but if you are an owner how can you deny the facts? It's like someone telling me I own a dangerous car, if I choose to drive it I'm doing it at my risk and it's none of your business. The same with a pit bull, if you chose to own one it's none of my business but that doesn't mean I can't post "FACTUAL" information that may help someone make an informed decision.

I'm fed up with hearing and reading about people (especially children) getting bitten for no reason. Watch the video I posted and if doesn't at least make you think than you must really be dense.
