Default Team Viewer Help

Can anyone explain an easy way for me to use TeamViewer. I've loaded TV10 that's about as far as I can get. I'm trying to help my Mom with her Ipad and I have no clue how to get it setup so I can see her screen. It asks for ID and I have no idea where you get this and is it for my PC or her IPad? Any help is appreciated.

She has to click the button that says 'new TV session' or something like that. She then needs to email you the session ID number or tell it to you over the phone. You type in the info she sent you and you will have access to her machine.

We use it all the time at work and it's really handy.

you download and install team viewer and the click on remote control

Then have you mom click the join remote control session on the website, she will need to download and install, then she gives you her id and password and then you enter that in your control panel see below

Both parties have to have teamviewer...I've never used it from my laptop to a pad...but use it often with customers who don't like to give me direct access to their network (I do logistics programing for manufacturing in the packaging industry)
