Default Ole Parker - Shout-Out

I had a question about a pair of Yamaha F225's and couldn't get in touch with my regular mechanic but then I remembered Ole Parker so I sent him an email question. Five minutes later, I get a phone call and wh answered all of my questions (which were several). He gave thoughtful and unbiased opinions based upon factual information and his real world experiences as a certified Yamaha dealer and Master mechanic.

I've heard others on THT community sing his praise. Add me to this list.

Thanks Ole for taking 20minutes out of your Saturday!

+1 I shot him a question too and got a good thoughtful response. Ole is a good example of what this forum should be about - folks with common interests helping each other. Not all the bs.

Always good to hear members helping members out. Nice to have so many various product/mechanical experts here.

Now that you mention it, where has he been?.. He used to be on THT all the time. I sure hope someone didn't piss him off too!!

He answered to a thread I started looking for advice and answered all my concerns.

I believe Ole got tired of the politics and BS. A real shame as he always helped people out. He has given me great advice before. Notice we never see Jethro anymore. He was very knowledgeable about yamaha's. Never see him post anymore.

A couple of chronic trolls who now live on THT and thrive on creating drama finally "ticked" him off enough that he doesn't post on THT much any longer and he's now on a different board. I think Jettro might be there too.

You might be surprised by the number of valuable people who have moved on to "greener" pastures in recent months.

Agreed. THT lost a lot more than just 1 poster when Ole left.
