Default High Beams!!

For the life of me, I can't understand how sooo many people can be so clueless and drive in traffic with their high beams on all the time.
I have found that some of them have one low beam burned out so they just keep the high beams on! And it's mostly the people behind me!
I feel like ordering some KC truck lamps and installing them on my truck roof................. BACKWARDS!!!!

Sorry, rant over!

Ditto for all the boaters with spotlights at night flashing them all over the place and destroying any night vision.

I'm with you on the high beam thing. And the A-holes that lift their trucks and don't adjust their headlights. They put HID bulbs in and blind everyone that they get behind.

Had to throw mine on high at one coming towards me this morning. He obliged.

Sidebar: Those other high beams will make a man skeet.

Those words in the drivers manuals are mere suggestions.

At least they use headlights where you are! It doesn't matter if it's dark, raining or both they aren't turning lights on around here for nothing (and 95% of the time it's a dark colored car). I'm thinking a hand held Q-beam will get the point across as flashing my lights does nothing.

They are stupid looking, but they don't blind me. I don't care how stupid you want to make your car/truck look. I don't care what kind of dumb ass rims and tires you put on it, but I don't want to be inconvenienced by it. If you blind me with those stupid ass Xenon lights I am going to hit you with my high beams. I really would love to get out of my car/truck with a baseball bat and dim them properly, I've never done it but ohhh, how good that would feel.

I think it's because most people no longer care. They are too selfish! "it's all about Me!"

I get flashed all the time from people who think I have high beams on. My truck is a stock Z71. So^ being selfish goes both ways.

I drive the same thing and get that a lot also. Then I show them they were on low.

My gripe is the people that do not turn on their lights during dawn/dusk hours and in inclement weather. Last week on my way to work, I passed a woman driving a white car in heavy snowfall without the lights on. May not be that big of a deal in the city, but out in the sticks where there are no street lights, that is a Darwin Award waiting to happen.
