Unless they love it and won't come it! ;)

Got about 15" yesterday, our Newfoundland loves it. Kept calling and she didn't want to come in. Stayed out in the storm a couple hours.

You southern guys are missing out! Well, not really....

Lol that is awesome!

Terrific pics! Great to see a Newfie enjoying his natural habitat.

I feel sorry for all the Newfies I see in Florida - even trimmed down, they always look like they are about to have heatstroke.

Your dog is loving life!!! He must make a big puddle when he thaws out.

Great shots! Looks like great pup... Just a magnificent animal.

Bella is not a fan, but she finally warmed up to the snow...

Great pics. That Newfie is loving life. I had a GWP that used to love the snow and after a while, would look like a walking ice beard. Always made a mess when she would come in the house and thaw out.

Where in MI are you located? How much snow have you got so far? Spoke to my family in Muskegon/GR and Detroit and they are getting burried.

Otis, my man!

Dogs be just plain crazy in the snow, It's like doggie catnip.

When she got up, she shook and there wasn't hardly any snow on her at all, and not wet. With the two layers/types of coats, the outside doesn't get warm enough to melt and get wet. Just like when she goes swimming, the undercoat looks dry when she gets out.

Nice video of Bells. We had a golden that also loved the snow. The Big difference is that the golden would just keep moving/playing, and the newf just likes to go out and lay in it while 'guarding' the property.

To follow up, found this pic from a few years ago, great dog but ate one sock too many...

He got these running through the snow for an hour or so. Had to pull all them off before we let him in.

Mine likes to curl up on the couch and watch the snow in her PJs. Unless, of course, there are ducks to get... then it's time to break through some ice!
