Blacktip and Nurse.

Skin. Cut into chunks. Soak in milk. Pat dry. Season to taste. Bread and fry.

Bonnetheads are pretty good! We soak them in buttermilk for a few hours then rinse and soak in Crystal's hot sauce overnight. Cube them up, bread them (House Autry Spicy Breader) and fry them up. Great bar food during the game.

I use this same method for frying cat turds.

Thresher is very good as well. Caught one last May. All I did was put aluminum foil down on grill place a little Italian dressing on foil (Helps prevent sticking) throw thresher steak on let it cook for a few minutes, flip it and put a tad more Italian dressing on it and make sure cooked through. To me at least, I like thresher better than mako.... My .02.

Blacktip is excellent eating. Have eaten it many times. Never tried any others, besides mako and thresher.

I do not believe mako's or threshers do. I'm no biologist and this is just what I have heard. And I could have been told this just so I'd eat it.

I'd rather eat shark, peeing through its skin, than any liver or kidney. ..

Found this article:

My gripe is that hammerheads are not food fish. I understand that doesn't mean you can't eat one (you can eat a dog turd if you want), but I have yet to meet an angler in all my travels that has mentioned hammerhead on the table, or targets them specifically to kill for food. Like most species, hammerheads urinate through their skin, giving the meat a terrible ammonia taste. The exceptions are mako sharks and threshers. Next time, Rosie, go look for one of those if it’s shark tacos you crave.

Makos and Threshers only. There's far too many other great tasting fish in the ocean to waste my time putting lipstick on a pig with other shark species that piss through their pores.

Great whites don't pee thru their skin either. Add that to the list. Maybe even porbeagle too. Never would try to eat a southern ocean shark, gross. Worthless

None. Can't do it, tagged them for too many years.
If I were to, I'd eat Thresher only.

Yep, blackfin back straps on the grill with Cajun seasoning. Never had the opportunity to try mako

I think I would rather eat the Yankee or Asian that gaffed the shark, marinated in ammonia and paired with a nice warm glass of aged cat piss.
