I also have four people on my staff that were ex-operators who have been in shootings. One ex-seal, 2 ex-rangers, and 1 ex-green beret. They have all been in shootings and they all constantly tell people how important constant training is in order their skills at peak level. They all still consistently train to keep their skills up. So excuse me if I listen to them and take their knowledge and advice and that of other ex or current operators we have that train at our facility over an ex Florida Highway Patrol otherwise known as AAA With a Gun.
I never once said training is not a great tool. I will say, unequivocally, training is essential. You were the one coming on here trashing the cop and his tactics. I asked you how many shootings were you in, after hearing you criticize the cop. I have been in a shooting and thought the cop did a great job considering the circumstances. If your ex-seal, ex-ranger or ex-green beret were here giving commentary, I would respect their opinion, but not yours.

Him. I am very familiar with Glynco.

But you have to remember the military shoots are a lot different, they don't have to bring in each states law on DFF and what not. police shoot to stop the threat and are way more likely to get critiqued over every aspect of a shooting. There's idiots that think cops should shoot guns out of hands and taze criminals pointing guns. I would not Monday morning QB a soldier or a pd guys decisions and even joe blow the homeowner.

Give me some credit. I knew that from your first post. I was just making a comparison.
So no military training. Not LE. Yet your going condemn someone (cop in video) who puts their ass on the line every day? Thats sad.
Id like to see how long you can keep from pissing your pants on my daily routine. Every day I go to work it means wearing 25-30lbs of kevlar, a sidearm and an SBR FA M4 along with another 15 lbs of gear. Thats just daytime and I deal with complete shitbags that would just as soon kill you. Try doing it at night. I bet youd piss and run before we even got started.

What expertise was used to say I celebrate Christmas? You have elves at your large business telling you things?

You are making some pretty massive assumptions based on a short video of the most stressful situation the cop will most likely ever face in his life.
Seems to me, he got to go home so he did everything he needed to.

Just because you can drive and make a left turn doesn't mean you can win Talladega.

Have you done the reactive shooting course? My dad taught that for a while back in the 80's. I always enjoyed the facilities down there, but I was in my teens back then.

Is this the range Super Sniper Fishing is talking about? Not too bad for a public range but I don't see much as far as tactical training goes. SSF if this is what you think passes for a training facility then you really don't have clue. Hell my farm back east has a 1000yd range, reactive steel target, moving targets, cover structure, 200ft of elevation change, and a big ol barn with multiple rooms and stories, and its just for me to play on. If you ever go through real training at a real training facility you'll see why I despise couch commandos second guessing an officers actions.
