Default Family pictures......UGGGGGGG

I have made a great sacrifice today. Nothing compared to our soldiers but nearly as brutal......

My wife drug me to JC Penny to get family pictures done. Nearly 2 hours wait time for an appointment, then 15 minutes of actual pictures taken, then another hour waiting.

Not only that, but I was a minority there. I almost didn't feel safe with my wife and son there. And this was at a mall in a "good" part of town.

Never again will I do this. I would have paid $1000 to get out of that shit today. I need a beer.

7-10 days for the pictures to be ready. LOL

And just to clarify, I read my post and it sounded like we didn't have a appointment. We did have an appointment for 12:40. We walked in at 12:43 and the place was a mad house. It still took them nearly 2 hours to take the pictures even with an appointment.

Next time I'm paying a professional (these people were not professionals) to come to my house to do the pictures. I don't care if it costs 5 times as much.

Me and my son are mad at mommy. I told her not to talk to me the rest of the day unless she says........

"I'm going to the store to buy beer and pick up dinner"

Funny thing is that there is probably some photo buff high school kid nearby with a DSLR could have done just a good of a job for a few bucks spending money.

Lots of shifty looking folks coming in and out. Granted there were some very nice people waiting with us, people of all races. But the way this place is situated is right at the side entrance to JC Penny where the city bus drops off and picks up people from "the other side of the tracks".

Saying I felt unsafe was an exaggeration. There were two cops handling a shoplifting case right there and the cops were there the entire time so because of the police presence I did feel safe.

Just do this today cellphones take higher quality pictures then most cameras 10 years ago. There are some many options online to make post cards and get pictures printed and mailed to you. You can even set it up so they send the post cards directly to the people.

He must be.

While there may be some shifty people in Dania, I can't imagine finding any at JCP!

We do this every year......gotta plan. Get the first appointment on Sunday morning, usually 11AM while everyone is still at church. Pack a cooler in the car and a football or game.

Walk in, 15 minutes for pictures, son and I get changed go out to the parking lot and throw the football around and have a drink while waiting on the wife to pick whatever, another 30-45 minutes.Home before football games start.
