Default Time Warner Cable Customer Service

So I need to cancel my service at my vacation property that will close next week. As of now, I have been on hold for 2:40!! At this point, I'm really just curious if someone will actually answer at some point. No way in hell I would have a job where the people you talk to have been on hold for over two hours before they get to you!!

I wouldn't waste my time holding more than 5 minutes. I'd find and online way to do it. Or send an email and complain.

Just stop paying the bill and it'll get disconnected and they will call you!!! Personally, I'd put them on hold for an hour or two so they can see how that feels.....

They suck. When you ask disconnect they send you a sales person. Turned it off at my north property while down south. Took me like 10 minutes of saying "just disconnect please"

I found the only way to talk to a real person at TW is to go to their office in person. Luckily, the Newport office isn't far when I "go to town" for shopping and if you hit it right, it's in and out.

At just over three and a half hours, I hung up because I had to go pick up my kids. I'm pretty sure if you ask to disconnect they send you to neverland!!

I have tw and loath any interaction. That said, last week I tried the online chat and was shocked how quick and efficient the process went.
I still hate dealing with them.

I don't have TW, but I have comcrap, who is just as bad. I will give them about 10 mins or one time to fix something. I then will call the FTC,FCC, State attorney general, BBB. It's actually pretty easy to do online. Is it a way overboard reaction, yes. But I hate those f'ers so much , I love wasting their money on trivial crap. And I do get my issue resolved. Albeit it takes a little longer, but the effort is much less then dealing directly with them.

I so effing hate TWC. Why isn't there some competition so these jackbags would be forced to improve service and lower prices?

The funny thing is at my primary home, I have a local service and they answer and address any need you have on the first ring. One of the VERY few small companies with excellent customer service I deal with.

Maybe I can make you feel a tiny bit better. Last winter, we had a pretty good blizzard here in the Twin Cities. Snowed maybe 15 inches, roads were dicey as hell. Cars in the ditches everywhere. My buddy and I are driving to the beer store, and on the way we see a Time Warner van in the ditch. Driver is outside the van trying to dig his way out.
As we drive by, my buddy opens his window and yells, "We'll be back sometime between noon and eight to pull you out!"
